Welcome!

Right now is such an exciting time for me. School is almost out (I'm a math teacher) and we close on our first house in a couple weeks. 

That's us!

I have been dreaming of a house of my own forever and look forward to finally having my own garage for building things, walls that I can paint, a yard to plant a vegetable garden in, and a place that is truly mine (ahem, ours). 

I'm currently a math teacher, but I am also:
- an Architecture graduate
- an former Interior Designer
- a former modern furniture distributor
- a sewing enthusiast
- a craft-a-holic


Being married to an engineer means that we both like tinkering and making things, but don't see eye to eye on the process! He takes the lead on some projects and I take the lead on others. 

I can't wait to document our journey making as much as possible - from furniture to clothes and accessories to food!
